  • Personal Data Protection Policy
    ALG Tax and Law Office (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) may use clients’ personal data (in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act) for the purpose of providing legal services and other related information to clients.
    Therefore, the Company is responsible for appropriately and strictly managing and safeguarding personal data.
    Although the Company has already implemented personal data protection, it recognizes the growing importance of safeguarding personal data in the advanced broadband era. Thus, the Company has established the following primary policies for personal data protection:

  • Primary Policies
    • The Company will define purposes for collecting, using, and disclosing personal data in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and will not use or disclose personal data beyond the defined purposes.
    • The Company will strictly comply with laws and regulations related to personal data protection.
    • To manage personal data, the Company will appoint a data controller to oversee proper data handling and implement measures to prevent data leakage to external parties, as well as take preemptive actions to prevent violations in compliance with legal standards. These measures include implementing reasonable and appropriate security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, modification, or leakage of data, as well as swiftly addressing potential risks.
    • The use of personal data will be limited to fulfilling the purposes of data collection while respecting clients' rights. The Company will not disclose or share personal data with third parties, except for service providers, without the client’s consent unless required by law or other regulations.
    • The Company will accept complaints and provide consultations regarding personal data through designated channels and forms. The Company will take strict and prompt actions to prevent and resolve issues.
    • The Company will continuously improve its personal data protection management system in response to changing circumstances, as required by law.
    With the established privacy policy, the Company is committed to strictly using clients’ personal data in compliance with relevant laws.
  • Collection of Personal Data
    For personal data collection, client consent is required. The Company will announce or notify the purpose of collection before or at the time of obtaining consent. The Company will use personal data only within the necessary scope to fulfill the defined purposes.

      Full name, address, email address, phone number, ID card information, and facial photographs.

    • Purposes of Collection and Use of Personal Data
      The Company has defined the following purposes for using personal data collected as stated in Section 1:

      To provide legal consultation, perform legal work, consulting services, communications, information provision, marketing through websites (Web Marketing), website creation, and answering inquiries. To process documents and registrations necessary for legal operations. To request information needed for legal tasks. To send letters, greeting cards, or coordinate communications. To notify or send information about seminars, newsletters, and legal services organized or related to the Company. To register participants in these activities. To publish announcements in all types of media regarding lectures involving the Company. To recruit personnel for human resources and administrative tasks (e.g., tax, social security, and other matters) and for educational purposes or emergency contact. To respond to inquiries. To fulfill business or other contracts. To comply with legal requirements, including civil and commercial laws, traffic laws, labor protection laws, occupational safety and health laws, etc. To establish legal claims. To consider entering into contracts for using the Company’s website services.
    • Retention Period of Personal Data
      The Company will retain personal data at its office for 10 years or as required by law. After the retention period, the Company will destroy the personal data within seven days using the following methods:
      Destruction by software, magnetic destruction, or physical destruction methods.
  • Use, Disclosure, or Delegation of Personal Data
    The Company has established the following provisions for the use, disclosure, or delegation of personal data:

      • The Company’s lawyers and employees will fully understand the purposes of using personal data and ensure its use remains within the defined scope, avoiding use beyond the specified purposes.
      • Sensitive personal data will be handled with care and only within the scope of the consent provided.
      • If personal data needs to be used beyond the defined purposes, the Company will notify the data owner in advance by phone or email to obtain additional consent unless permitted by law.
    • Announcement of Purpose of Using Personal Data
      The Company will announce the purpose, scope, and privacy policy for using and disclosing personal data on its website.
    • Disclosure of Personal Data
      • If personal data needs to be disclosed, the Company will do so within the defined scope and with client consent unless permitted by law.
      • If disclosure beyond the defined scope is necessary, the Company will notify the data owner in advance by phone or email to obtain additional consent unless permitted by law.
    • Disclosure to the Company’s Service Providers
      • The Company will disclose personal data to its service providers within the defined purposes and with client consent.
      • The Company will select service providers with adequate standards for personal data protection to ensure data security.
      • If data needs to be shared beyond the defined purposes, the Company will notify the data owner in advance to obtain additional consent.
    • Use of Personal Data of Employees of Service Users or Providers
      The Company will use the personal data of employees of service users or providers within the defined purposes and will not use it beyond the specified purposes.
  • Management of Personal Data
    The Company will maintain the accuracy of personal data and protect it using necessary and appropriate measures to ensure organizational, physical, and technological security. It will implement measures following the Company's regulations to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, modification, or leakage of personal data. The Company will also provide training and knowledge on personal data protection.
  • Rights of Data Owners
    During the data retention period, data owners have the following rights:
    • The right to withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data, specifically when the Company has obtained consent from the data owner.
    • The right to request access to personal data and obtain a copy, or to request disclosure of the source of personal data collected without consent.
    • The right to request the transfer of personal data to another company or receive personal data transferred by the Company.
    • The right to object to the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data collected without the data owner’s consent, as required by law.
    • The right to request deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data when it is no longer necessary, the data owner withdraws consent, or the data owner exercises the right to object.
    • The right to request the suspension of personal data use if it is under verification or is no longer necessary to retain.
    • The right to request corrections to personal data to ensure it is accurate, current, complete, and does not cause misunderstandings.
  • Data Analysis
    To analyze visitors to the Company’s website, the Company will use web beacons, pixels, tags, device identifiers, cookies, and information submitted via inquiry forms for marketing purposes, such as analyzing website usage. Related data may also be used to provide services arising from third-party usage. The Company will verify compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act before using such services. The Company will not disclose any collected data for analysis unless permitted by law.
  • Changes to the Personal Data Policy
    The Company may change its personal data protection policy by notifying clients following the Company’s procedures and obtaining consent before implementation. The amended policy will apply to website visitors, clients, partners, service providers, recipients, and activities related to the parent company.

      The Company may disclose personal data to third parties as follows:
      • Courts or government officials in Thailand or other countries, including ministries, departments, or bureaus
      • The Department of Provincial Administration (in the case of requesting household registration records)
      • In cases where the Company’s client is a party to a legal dispute, and the opposing party has appointed a lawyer, the Company may need to share information with the opposing party's lawyer
      • Other individuals or groups involved in legal matters
        In cases where the nature of the Company’s services requires sharing personal data with third parties, the Company will obtain consent from the data owner via a letter or email each time, unless required by law
    • Providing Personal Data to the Company’s Service Providers
      The Company may provide personal data to service providers meeting the standards set by the Company. In such cases, the Company will enter into confidentiality agreements with these providers to ensure the security of the personal data and to regulate its necessary and appropriate use.
    • Data Transfers
      The Company may transfer personal data of external parties to its parent company and/or affiliated companies, provided that appropriate safeguards are in place to ensure personal data protection and to enable data owners to exercise their rights and seek legal remedies. If a request is made for notification, disclosure, or modification of the purposes of data use; for the deletion or suspension of data use; or for halting the sharing of data with third parties (hereinafter referred to as "data disclosures"), the Company will act promptly and appropriately.
